Overview:

In the summer of 1942, the Soviets launched first Rzhev–Sychyovka offensive operation. The months long operation would begin in July and wind down by September. A notable action occurred on the 15th of September when the 2nd Battery of the Sturmgeschütz-Abteiling 667, led by Hugo Primozic took position to ambush a Soviet mixed force of T-34’s and KV-1’s with light infantry support. Primozic’s three STUGS would position to take out the advancing armor, while local Grenadiers prepared to repel any Russian infantry.
