Overview:

On July 16th, the US 83rd Infantry Division seized Remilly-sur-Lozon. While the 329th Infantry Regiment led a diversionary attack, the 331st Infantry Regiment constructed a Bailey bridge at the site of the destroyed bridge over the Taute River. Despite being forced back, the Germans organized a final counter-attack aimed at capturing the American Bailey bridge. Two StuG's of the 17th SS Panzer Battalion would lead the effort.

2023-07-02(A) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best American winMy SS went along the South edge and cleared the Americans, but took too much time. Dan chose Turn 4 to bring in his reinforcements from the north. I bum rushed the Bridge to try and get the immediate Win. One STUG made it on to the bridge, but the second ESB's and was immobilized next to the Bridge. The Americans counter-attacked and concentrated on the bridge area and that was game as the Germans had no more AFV's. Fun game!
