Overview:

The Germans assaulted into the city of Louvain and initially succeeded in pressing back some posts of the 2nd Royal Ulster Rifles to the railyards. Here a tangle of railroad lines, sheds, and warehouses made it a difficult area to traverse. On the extreme left of the Ulster’s position a platoon defended a position known as “Bala-Tiger Post” in honour of the two subalterns who commanded it in turn.

2021-05-21(A) O Ramaille vs Macari Samuel German winThe German deployed his attacking troops and easily forced his way to the railroad. The British are outnumbered and in insufficient number to defend properly. The arrival of German armored cars on T5 sealed the fate of the few remaining British units.
Clearly the most unbalanced scenario of the pack.
2020-10-21(D) Gordon Jupp vs Derek Cox German winNot sure about this one - OK I rolled badly but this is a real struggle for the Brits; we called it on T5 as a major win for the Germans - there are simply not enough defenders....
2020-10-03(A) Dave Mareske vs Dan Best German winDan defended heavy on the other side of the tracks allowing the Germans to easily take 11 of 12 buildings. Even so it was a hard fight to get across the tracks and into a couple more building locations. Dan made a valiant effort to retake a building, but he would have needed to retake two and that was not possible. Victory to the Germans though I lost 19 CVP while inflicting 12 CVP on the British. On to the last battle in this series where Dan can still measure out a victory with a decisive win.
