Overview:

German paratroops and grenadiers had held St. Come against constant pressure from American paratroops for two days but the Americans were already getting relief from the beaches. And then the Americans cut the road to Carentan from the south leaving them surrounded on three sides with only the flooded lowlands open to the west. The time had come to break out to the south and reform in Carentan. . . if they could. . .

2021-04-23(A) Dave Mareske vs Craig Renier German winTried going up the west side of the American's defense. The defender had trouble both re-positioning the defense and not getting some good rolls when they decided to stand and fight. I planned out a fairly careful attack and when the majority of the Americans were broken the Germans were able to make a run for it. Never got to part two this time.
2021-03-22(D) Dave Mareske vs Dennis Dowd American winThis is a great two round match that makes you fire and move a lot. The Americans conducted an effective fighting withdrawal that made the Germans hesitate too long in Part One. Making Part Two a little more desperate for the Germans, especially in the end turns, forcing them to dash for the edge which were then cut down by some effective American fire. I think it hard on the Germans even though the ROAR data shows different.

2019-08-24(D) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best American winDan Best and I struggled a bit with this scenario through Part 1 and Part 2. Part 1 ended on Turn 4 as too many German squads broke and again in Part 2 on Turn 6 as the Germans were reduced to 6 active squads.
