Overview:
When the news of the surrender of France reached the Foreign Legion garrisons in Syria and Lebanon, the Spaniards there begin a mass desertion to Palestine to join the British forces still in the fight. At first, the suspicions are not few on the part of their new companions. Everything changed when the night maneuvers began. The Spaniards, who were already assigned to a commando unit, captured all the sentinels and checkpoints of the drills. Decades later, an officer declared: "They advanced without noise, they were more silent than the Apaches. It was clear that they were born guerrillas."Attacker: German (Elementos del 1er.
