Overview:

The opening hours of the Ardennes offensive found forward U.S. infantry outposts probed and infiltrated by their German counterparts. River crossings and key road networks had to be seized to allow the panzer divisions to drive through Belgium. On the morning of December 16th, German formations crept through the Schnee Eifel and delivered the first hammer blows to the green U.S. 106th Infantry Division. . .

2025-09-07(A) Maximiliano Estravis Barcala vs DC American winAmerican setup close to the VC area. Both ATs on the 3-hex small hill lose HE and malfunction. After the German mortar malfunctions, the Germans take some very risky moves in smoke-free roads while the American defense does not give up. Eventually time runs out before the Germans can secure the VC area.
2025-08-03(D) Maximiliano Estravis Barcala vs DC German winAmericans setup very close to the Germans, exposed to their initial Prep Fire. Against the German stampede, two HMG are lost. The American AT on the lower front runs out of HE, and the one on the far hill by the VC area is eliminated. Reinforcements are not enough to prevent a comfortable German victory.
2024-11-26(D) Mark Peak vs Dan Leader American winWe might have made some errors with the AT Guns HE firing but not sure. Both guns did well and created issues for the Germans but an aggressive move to attack light units on the center hill and then hold the hill with an MMG probably was the difference maker. Didn't hurt that I rolled pretty well this scenario.
