2025-10-18(D) nathan wegener vs Doug Kirk Axis win5 hrsNeither of us could hit much with our toys. Attack was steady and pushed quickly through my picket. Unfortunately the wall of MGs broke or was ineffective. HIP gun also broke on first shot. Too much time too many attackers.
2025-09-17(D) Simon Staniforth vs IA Russian winThe combined Finnish / German force looks powerful indeed but the Russians held out for a win by holding the crossroads. I sent most of the reinforcements to that area. Took the INF Gun over the AT Gun for its Smoke and Canister capability meaning of course I failed all the Depletion rolls! The Axis attack on the Northern hill probably had a few too many units who got hung up vs both HMGs (I had thought this would be the Alamo) leaving insufficient time to get enough additional units down to the final battle. OBA could make a big difference here; there were no successful fire missions in this playing. A very enjoyable larger scenario
