Overview:

Early March 1942, found the Japanese 55th and 33rd Infantry Divisions advancing rapidly towards Rangoon. British Commonwealth forces were retreating and racing to reach the Burmese capital before the Japanese. The retreating columns of British and Indian Forces were moving rapidly towards the crossroads at Taukkyan. But a parallel column of Japanese had managed to reach Taukkyan in time to set up an improvised roadblock of destroyed automobiles. Outnumbered, the Japanese hunkered down intent on delaying the retreating Allies for as long as possible.

2023-06-23(D) Kermit Mullins vs Dan Best Japanese winBritish assault came straight down the road. Japanese HMG laid firelanes down the road which broke up the initial advance. The Japanese Gun took out both soft skin vehicles, but bounced as the Stuart came into the fight. The Japanese managed to break the British often enough to slow the advance and ultimately win the game.
