Overview:
The Soviet command in Sevastopol planned to support the landings at Feodosiya with a diversional landing. They landed a reinforced battalion of Naval Infantry at the resort town of Yevpatoriya the night of January 4/5. The Germans reacted strongly sending an infantry regiment, pioneer battalion and other troops. On the morning of January 6th, the Germans counterattacked to crush the landing.Attacker: German (105th Infantry Battalion, 72nd Infantry Division with Pioneer Battalion 70 and Aufklarung Battalion 22)
