Overview:

The Polish Warsaw Mechanized Brigade was moving south to block the German advance over the Vistula, where the 4th Infantry Division had established a bridgehead near the village of Krasnik. The Brigade was also reinforced with the 1st Light Tank Battalion and 11th Armored Battalion. The Poles attacked the small bridgehead with overwhelming numbers, but were uncoordinated in their efforts. The Germans committed their reserves. Army level heavy antitank guns maneuvered to block the Polish armored breakthrough.

2020-08-24(D) Dave Mareske vs Dennis Dowd German winThis seems to be a tough one on the Poles. It is hard to get enough armor and infantry support across the bridge before the Germans can set up their guns. The Poles got bogged down in the village with a couple of wrecks and immobilized tanks. I would like to play this again with the Poles blitzing through the village, trying to get behind the German infantry...lots of risks due to the Heat on the 75, plus street fighting for the defender. Best of luck with the Poles!

2019-06-02(D) Tom Kearney vs Walt McWilliams German winDespite malf’ing my 75mm infantry gun on its second shot the Germans managed to eke this one out. Walt played an excellent game!
2018-05-20(D) jon smith vs polsh German winGermans filled the right flank and offered a weak left ..Poles took the bait and armour plus inf pushed the german left flank, the hidden 75* along with the MMG took the inf out and left the poles reeling backwards to rally on the hill, the Polish armour drove through and along the stream losing 2 tanks to the ATR on the way, as they got over the stream and over the bridge they were met by the german AT gun platoon which took 4 of them out straight away. Tough game for Poles if they don't get across the stream early on.
