Overview:
On the evening of 7 November, the only city battle of the Italian liberation war took place in the city of Bologna, outside of a typically insurrectional situation. The fascists of the Black Brigades and the Germans in the garrison attacked the GAP forces in the base of va Macello but are surprised by the counterattack started from the Ospedale Maggiore hospital.
