Overview:

Commonwealth are in full retreat northward from Rangoon when lead units encounter a Japanese force at Mile Post 27 near the village of Mithwephok. They radio the situation and learn that a recon unit to the north has encountered the Japanese forces as well and it is more substantial within the village of Mithwephok. The Commonwealth escape is in jeopardy. The road to Prome must be cleared or all the forces evacuating Rangoon will be trapped between the roadblock and the invading Japanese army. The evacuation from Rangoon was hasty and the road was filled with a disorganize array of military units of all types. The Commonwealth commander orders whatever units are available and closest to Mile Post 27 forward to assist in clearing the Japanese roadblock and opening the road north.
Attacker: Commonwealth (Duke of Wellington Rifles and 1st Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment with 12th Mountain Battery and 7th Queen's Own Hussars)
Defender: Japanese (2nd Infantry Battalion, 214th Infantry Regiment and 2nd Tank Regiment)

2020-09-24(D) Tom Kearney vs Alan Saltzman Japanese winGood shooting by the Japanese prevented a British victory.
2019-06-23(D) Gordon Jupp vs Darren Orwin Japanese winFinal game of the CG - really interesting and great fun. The Commonwealth attack from the North was defeated early on and the southern attack couldn't make swift enough progress to clear the 2nd roadblock which was positioned in the village. Well worth playing - mass Japanese AFV!
2017-03-30(A) James Rimmer vs Douglas Rimmer Japanese win
