Overview:
Colonel Alexander Stark was tasked by Allied command to hold the crucial Kasserine Pass. A scratch unit, called “Gore Force” was added to stiffen American positions in the pass. Before Gore Force arrived, the Germans had dispersed Stark’s units during the night of 19/20 February. Thus, instead of entering organized Allied positions, at 0400 hours on 20 February, Gore Force passed through the remnants of disintegrating American and French units. Ignoring the chaos, Gore Force dug in on the northern corner of the pass.Attacker: German (Elements 10th Panzer Division)
