Overview:

In April 1927, Chiang Kai-shek and the Nationalist Army broke away from the Communist Chinese and their Russian advisors. Chiang ordered the arrest of all Communists in Shanghai, and a civil war began. With heady ideas, the Canton Communists started a general uprising on the 12th of December. Although the Communists held most parts of the city, their defenses were not tied together. Three days later, the Nationalists came to visit.

2025-08-16(A) Don Berg vs Solo Nationalist Chinese winThe Nationalist set up a all the HW in 49H7 to control the middle of the board. They attacked up both flanks, leaving the AC protected in the rear. Came close to winning on turn 4 and then on turn 5, but the middle factory remained a tough nut to crack. At one point there were DM counters on nearly every hex of the building. Finally the factory fell to a 1-1 CC roll on Red turn 6 for the victory. This after a hero led squad had crossed the east bridge, along with the leader-led AC to take the eastern victory building.
