Overview:
On November 2nd, the Russian mechanized units reached the village of Ócsa, coming to within 15 kilometers of the capital of Budapest. As the Russians approached the village, the road was hastily cleared and an ad hoc formation of Hungarians were deployed around the anti-tank ditch. Five T034s were soon observed heading towards the bridge over the anti-tank ditch. Russian infantry could be seen crouched down, following the tanks. Shortly before the Russians reached the bridge, the Hungarians let loose a fusillade of Panzerfaust and AA gun fire. . .Attacker: Russian (Elements of 2nd Guards Tank Division)
