Overview:

After the announcement by Italian leaders of an armistice with the Allies on September 8, the Germans put plans into motion to occupy Italy and disarm the Italian Army. On September 9, a detachment of German troops entered the port city of Bari on the Adriatic coast, sinking several steamboats, and demanding Italian surrender. The indignity was too much for General Nicola Bellomo, commander of the XII Territorial Defense Command, to bear. He had to act. Bellomo rounded up a scratch force of Fascist militia, construction engineers, sailors, armed police, and armed civilians, determined to oust the arrogant German occupiers.

2021-10-01(D) Paolo Cariolato vs Alessandro Levarato German winPlayed during RWG2021, it confirms a great scenario, apparently unbalanced but very fun and balanced. Alessandro was a great opponent and at the end of turn 2 was leading, some minor mistake and the decision to split reinforcement in half and assign them to both sides proved his doom, in the processe he created one italian hero, a real rare event.
