Overview:
To support the German invasion of Yugoslavia and Greece, the Italian Armies on the Albanian border were to apply as much pressure as possible on the Greek Corps opposite them. This would prevent the Greeks from linking up with any Yugoslavian units, and also keep them from falling back and escaping being cut off by Axis units approaching from the northeast. One such engagement was at Hill 731, a key position where the Italians suffered heavy casualties two months earlier in a failed attack.Attacker: Italian (Elements of the Parma Infantry Division with supporting armor)
