Overview:
A Kampfgruppe from the 2./schwere Panzerjager-Abteilung 653 occupied firing positions in the town of Böhl on 21 March 1945 and waited there for the advancing American forces. The American attack, began at 0800 hours on the morning of the 22 March. Leutnant Feineisen knocked out 6 tanks with his Jagdtiger. Unteroffizier Hagelstein reported 3 tanks knocked out, and Unteroffizier Kohns destroyed 2 halftracks.
