Overview:
As Guderian pushed his panzers southward, one weak gap on his left flank was struck by a coordinated cavalry/tank assault. The appearance of a heavy tank force on their exposed flank caused considerable concern for the Germans. The Russians managed to penetrate as far as the suburbs where they encountered German anti-aircraft weapons.Attacker: Russian (Elements of 9th Cavalry Division and the 31st Tank Battalion)
Defender: German (Elements of the 10th Motorized Division)
