Overview:
It's 4 AM when a group of 30 civilians led by 4 Policemen of the 'Koninglijke Marechaussee' present themselves at the bridge of Heumen. The Marechaussees claim to escort German deserters behind the lines. After giving the correct password as well as having their papers examined thoroughly, the bridge is dropped, and the group is let through. The bridge is taken up again as the newcomers proceed down the road to have a closer look at these deserters. As the group passes Bunker No. 8, one of the Marechaussess turns to one of his companions and asks for a light...Suddenly all hell breaks loose.Attacker: German (Elements of Division ZBV 800 Brandenburg / Elements of SS-Verfugongs Division)
