Overview:

During the destruction of Army Group Center, the German front became pierced at many points. As the battlefield situation became more fluid, reliable information was of crucial importance to both sides. In the midst of the fighting an unusual clash occured on the outskirts of Lepel— unusual in that both recon forces were commanded by seasoned, aggressive leaders. Although the primary responsibility of both groups was to avoid contact and obtain battlefield intelligence, the aggressive nature of both commanders prevailed. A vicious firefight ensued. . .
Attacker: Russian (Recon elements, 30th Guards Tank Corps)

2025-12-08(D) Johan Vrijdaghs vs Adrian Carter Russian win
2025-10-23(A) Maximiliano Estravis Barcala vs RA Russian winThe Russians adopted a defensive strategy, keeping their tanks in motion for three turns, but underestimated the maneuvering capacity of the Pumas. Once they get on a road, they're unstoppable. The Pumas surrounded the area around the stream, managing to wreck a Russian tank. The Russian Armor Leader approached from board 4 after a detour, and directed the burning wreck of two Pumas. In the end, all but one German vehicles were destroyed, sealing the Russian victory.
2025-08-08(D) Alex Ashton vs Martin Barker German winWe chose this scenario as a learning scenario to help me with the armour rules.
The victory conditions make for an interesting dynamic.
Martin lost a tank early on which meant he had to now attack the Germans. In the ensuing combat I fired first in a gun duel and rolled a critical hit knocking out his tank and his -2 leader.
Martin conceded at the end of turn 3 with all 5 of his tanks either destroyed or immobilised.
It was a fun scenario but a bit dicey, Great in learning armour TH and TK principles.
2025-03-24(D) Herve Duval vs Alex D German winThe German armor leader in his immobilised puma destroyed the last three russian T70 as they were trying to exit.
